This is a really great piece. And for reasons unrelated to Turner.
The subtle colour palette is brilliant, and it really creates a lovely atmosphere. One of my favourites on here.

the marks are beautiful...I can't "critique" it but...I think it could use more subtle varieties of that brown/burnt umber-raw sienna. That color is key to the composition and looks gorgeous when paired with the tertiary colors around it. I think that if you used some more of that color it might allow you to further render other elements. Still a tremendously cohesive painting.
